We decide our destiny!

We decide our destiny!

Advancement: We’re born to advance! Yesterday is a testimony of today. From a child we have been advancing and growing: from an infant to toddler to young child to grammar school child to young teenager to highschooler to young adult and so on.. Possibilities are and can be endless. Some probably can agree with me on this: Being chased by a dog! Auh…Man… some of us didn’t realized that we can run that fast, and that long.. without getting tired, even when you tired, I mean so…tired while running, in order for you to quit and give up, you would literally have to fallout and die of a heart attack while running, in order for you to stop running from that dog. Speaking for myself, I experience this, running from dogs and police, starting from elementary up until high school, literally out of breath, holding my side and everything, yet I didn’t stop until I got to my destination. Why do we not stop running? We don’t stop running because we’ve immediately envisioned the completion/safety, of making it. Also, we envisioned the pain/trouble if caught. Therefore, it’s the same with endeavors, we envision the excitement/satisfaction while progressing and completing. We also, envision the mental pain/regret of quitting and not pursuing. It’s the adrenaline, that’s driving both, “Running from a dog and Pursuing ideas, desires and interest”

Testimony: The most scariest moment was when I was in the sixth grade, running from the whole police department(JPD), we ran about 6 blocks, jumping 10ft fences and everything. What happen was that, I kept some fireworks from the 4th of July, maybe 4 months later during school, school was cancel one day, so we celebrated that night, we was lighting /shooting firecrackers and bottlerockets in the air and at people houses in the neighborhood. Somebody thought we was shooting guns, and call the police.

Philippians 2:5-8 (King James Version)
5. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7. But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Paul the Apostle was encouraging the Philippians to allow themselves to experience the same mindset that was in Christ Jesus. The mindset that Jesus the Christ had, was that, he didn’t think it was robbery to be equal with God. Basically, by him having the same power that God the Father had, he didn’t think he was taking/robbing God of his power. Paul is encouraging us to not feel like we’re desiring something bad for wanting the same power. It’s our right, it’s what we were created for, and to obtain. The key is this, Jesus, the son was our prime example of how to obtain it, even experience it while in training in this flesh body. Jesus was a servant, and he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death. The same with us. Let’s look at these two types of people and their differences: An arrogant/prideful person vs. a humble person. Like night and day.

–> An arrogant/prideful person remain in the dark about a whole lot of self-improvement and growth. I’m not saying that they don’t grow, but they miss out on a whole lot of advancement. Why? Most of the time they can’t take criticism, feel like their way is the best(their way might work, but is it the best), thinking to much of themselves(basically, if you feel that highly of yourself, you must feel a certain degree of completeness, If you’re complete: how can anyone give you anything that’s beneficial to enhancing your well being). This is just a few ways of looking at arrogance/prideful.

–> A humble person remain in the light, a living open invitation for self-improvement and growth. A living filter, and don’t mind criticism, especially constructive criticism. They understand that everyone has something to offer. They are mindful that they’re not complete while in this flesh body. They see opportunity quick, because they’re living in the day, knowing the possibilities. They have a certain degree of genuine patience. They will most often, understand, and experience the work of God more than the arrogant. Things that are small to the arrogant, are a lot of times, massive and great to the humble, because they see more into the reason why. Basically, the humble extract more from life, and use it to catapult themselves.

This is what Jesus said unto his disciples after he was resurrected from the dead:

Matthew 28:18 (King James Version)
18. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

((Furthermore: Jesus was born of a woman, just as we were: he had blood running through his veins, and inhaled/exhaled the same breath we breathe and showed us the possibilities while in the flesh and blood body. He experience the power and will from God while in the flesh. The only difference between him and us is.., faith. He had no doubt. He moved with no doubt to the glory of God the Father: that’s how he walked on water, raise the dead, heal the sick, ect. Whatever your mind can imagine, it can happen! We’re not exempt!

My Faith and strength is not always, 100. It fluctuates. I have to remind myself this, sometimes:

Joshua 1:9 (King James Version)
9. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

It’s about that boost, and that uplifting we need sometimes to stay focus, and believe..

Sincerely, Jacmauzs Justarr
