Born of the spirit. Literally!

Who is born of God and overcometh the world into God the Father’s Kingdom? We must overcome ourselves, our mind, our temptations..HOld Fast.. Let’s take a look at a characteristic of those born of God!

John 3: 1-5 (KJV)
1. There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

((Let’s divert quickly and look at who has been born of the spirit of all people on the planet to enter into the kingdom of God.))

1 Corinthians 15:50 (KJV)
50. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

((We have to be a spirit being to enter the Kingdom of God the Father which is in heaven. Let’s take a look at the first person that enter the Kingdom of the Father that was born a human(flesh), yet raise in spirit.

John 3:13 (KJV)
13. And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

((This is Jesus. Okay now, let’s revert back to this topic at hand.))

John 3: 6-8 (KJV)
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

((So..we all been born of the flesh, yet there is another birth. The birth of being born of the spirit(basically the resurrection, whether dead or alive). Lets look at what’s capable, when someone is born of the spirit:

8. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

((So..when someone is born of the spirit, they can come and go like the wind. Keep in mind, you can’t see the wind, you can hear it, yet you don’t know when it’s coming or going. Let’s take a look at the captain of our salvation, Jesus the Christ!

Luke 24:22-31 (King James Version)
22. Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;
23. And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
24. And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

((Okay, Keep in mind, that Jesus has risen from the dead(born again) and appeared before these men, in unawares, he made it where they didn’t recognize him. He started talking.

25. Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26. Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27. And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28. And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
29. But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30. And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

((Jesus was born again, of the spirit. He now, was like the wind, you can hear the sound, yet you can’t tell when it’s coming or going.))

((This is what we desire as Christians of the truth, yet let’s at look when the Father’s Kingdom will be accessible unto men.

Revelation 21:1-7 (King James Version)
1. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

((The Kingdom of the Father will accessible unto men and women after, The Great Tribualation, after The Great White Throne Judgment!

((Hold fast to the truth! Never, I repeat, Never let go! That your election is sure!

2 Peter 1:10 (KJV)
10. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
