According to the word of God, the definition of sin is this: 1 John 3:4
KJV 1 John 3:4
4. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
((So, whatever sin is, it should be written in the law of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Smoking cigarettes and drinking is not sin, although doing either of these in excess can harm the body in the long run. The word of God speaks about drinking liquor and/or wine in excess and getting drunk.
KJV Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
((The word says, “be not drunk with wine,” it didn’t say you can’t drink it. How do a person become drunk? By excessive drinking. Let’s continue.))
KJV 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
It’s writing that the “drunkards,” shall not inherit the kingdom of God, not the drinkers. There’s is a difference. It’s a sin to get drunk, not drink. People can drink strong liquor and wine without getting drunk. God is simple and plain. If it was sin to drink liquor(whisky, rum, brandy, gin, wine, or whatever title they give liquor), he would have said it, yet he made a difference. We must pay attention to ourselves when drinking, and be honest with ourselves.
It’s not a sin to smoke cigarettes. Although, it can eventually in the long run be unhealthy for your body, possibly lung cancer, ect., but it is not a sin. Tobacco is a stimulant, just as marijuana(weed) is, yet tobacco has been legalized, not marijuana. It’s written.
1 Peter 2:12-14
12. Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
13. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
14. Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
When we submit ourselves unto every ordinance of man, it’s for the Lord’s sake, whether it be to the king, as supreme, government, as they are sent by him(God) for the punishment of evildoers. So..God put people in power to punish evildoers. Let’s look at this smoking situation. Keep in mind, both cigarettes and marijuana are stimulants. Cigarettes is just the one that’s been just about Globally legalized, but not marijuana. The Gentiles legalized whatever they want. It is what it is. Marijuana is legal in some places: such as Colorado and Washington in the United States, yet it’s illegal in the others, but exception in some for medical use. Therefore we must honor that law of Nebuchadnezzar son, his son, and his son’s son, which in general is any European man’s(gentile) law of government upon this planet. Who are the Gentiles, they are what the world title as “White People.” Gentile is a nationality, a blood line, an ancestry of people, ref. Genesis 10: 1-5. Note: There’s nothing evil about being born a gentile. Every man and woman upon this planet is born into sin. A person ways, thoughts and actions make him wicked or evil, no matter what nationality. The Gentiles are the descendants of the third son of Noah, which was Japheth. They run the whole planet. They’ve been giving the power by God to run it. You see it. They’ll move in, and push out whomsoever they will, and setup shop, taking complete control, no matter what nationality outside their race, they even fight amongst themselves taking territory. Can’t no other race upon this planet stop them. God gave this planet into there hands to rule. They know it. That’s why some of them boast themselves in it, because they know that, no one can stop them, but God the Father, even God the Son(Jesus). Will they run the world forever? Naw..,when Jesus come back, he’s shutting it down, but until then, we gone have’ta deal with it. Let’s take a look at the God of Israel(Jesus), stating the power that he has giving to the Gentiles(White people).
Jeremiah 27:4-15
4. And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;
5. I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
((That’s plain, right. He created the earth and he gives it to whomsoever he want, to run it. Let’s continue.))
6. And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
Did you notice that God called Nebuchadnezzar his servant. Although there are some Gentiles who serve God the Father in Jesus in truth, yet he was referring to Nebuchadnezzar simply executing his will, his instruction. For example, God use and command the Gentiles to punish or rough up people that he is angry at. Sort of like, a belt that’s in God’s hands, to use to whup up on people. That’s what a servant do, take orders, whether serving in truth or just plainly executing the wishes of another. The Gentiles(Europeans) run it. They create the laws of land, whether it’s fishing, hunting, driving, what’s consider legal or illegal, so on and so on. Let’s continue.))
7. And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.
((How many nations(nationalities) shall serve him. All nations. They shall serve Nebuchadnezzar, his sons, and his son’s son. No matter what power amongst man, other nations think they have. Gentiles have been given the power by God to overcome.))
8. And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
((Whatever nation that shall not submit unto the yoke(rules and regulations) of Nebuchadnezzar, that nation will I (God) punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his(Nebuchadnezzar) hand. Basically by the Gentiles hand, God will punish those who do submit unto the rules and regulations that the Gentiles setup. Let’s continue.))
9. Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:
10. For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.
Note: There’s nothing wrong with standing up for the truth. It don’t matter whose in power, or over us, gentile, hamite, or shemite. Where not supposed to serve no other God upon this planet, but God the Father in Jesus. There have been many nations who stood up and led revolts against the Gentiles, for instance: Blacks(Negroes), Blacks(Hamites/so calledAfricans), Arabs, even the so called Indians here in the United States, so on and so on. What happened to them? The majority of us have read or seen organizations/groups of other nationalities stand against the ruler-ship of the Gentiles, and their end result. Back to square one, submission, and/or destroyed. No man on this planet can go against God’s prophecy and his will. If mankind believe and understood his boundaries, he could save himself a lot of heartache and pain. Take a look at this next scripture.
11. But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
((Basically, you are liable of maintaining your stay, and whatever possession of land, cars, property, ect. just by abiding by the laws that the Gentiles setup. Even maintain your job, just by obedience to their rules and regulations. Also, you might have your own business, yeah, you might run your own business, yet your business must be submitted and ran through the channels, rules, and regulations of the gentiles to be legit. Let’s continue.))
12. I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
13. Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
14. Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
15. For I have not sent them, saith the LORD, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
((Basically from Verse 12-15, God is saying, submit unto the rules of whom he setup, which in this case right now is the Gentiles(European/white people), so that you can live. If not, your putting yourself at risk of dying, you and your family, by sword, famine, and pestilence, as the Lord hath spoken against the nation that will not submit unto the King Nebuchadnezzar, and his son, and his son’s son, and so on. He also said, don’t believe any person that says that you don’t have to submit, no matter who they are: leaders, preachers, pastors, ect., if they do, they prophesy a lie unto you, that you might lose your stay, even setup to be perish(destroyed). Look around, you’ve seen it, you can even read history of all the organizations that came against the Gentiles, revolting, and their end result, submission or destroyed. By submitting ourselves under the ordinances of the Gentiles that God has setup to run and rule all nations, we keep ourselves out of harms way, otherwise we’re rebelling against God’s protocol of ruler-ship on this earth. If you break Caesars law, he’ll fine you, give you record, misdemeanor, felony, thus making it hard for you to find anyone to hire you for work. Now, you can’t provide for yourself, let alone a family, putting you in a state of breaking this commandment:
1Timothy 5:8
8. But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Question: How are you gonna provide for yourself and family if your not running your own business, and you’ve broke the law of Caesar, and created a misdemeanor, felony record for yourself and no one will hire you for work?
Illegally handling and using drugs can put you in this state, even incarcerated, if caught.

KJV 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
19. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
((We must glorify God in our body, and in our spirit(mind), which are God’s. How do we glorify God in our body and mind? Let’s see))
KJV 1 Corinthians 3:17
17. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
((We glorify God in our body, by not defiling it. Let’s take a look at how a man or woman can defile his or her body according to the word of God, not what according to what mankind feel, think or say, but God. Let’s look.))
Mark 7:15, 20-23
15. There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
((He’s not talking about meat/food, he’s talking about knowledge and information. There’s no information that can enter into a man and defile him. It’s all about what he do with the information once he receive it, that is what makes the difference. If he or she believe it and act upon the wrong information, it then, can defile him or her. A person can know about something, and not believe it, and by not acting upon it, it will not defile him. Let’s continue.))

23. All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
For from within, out of the heart of men, or you could say “out of the mind of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, etc. As far as evil, it begins with our mind, and then we act upon. We all have had experienced evil acts and have heard of things that are evil. Just because we know about it, that don’t defile us. We have to know about it, to refrain from it. It’s not written in the bible that smoking, smoking cigarettes, and drinking is a sin. Smoking cigarettes might cause your health to decline quicker, yet it’s not a sin to smoke, neither will it defile your body according to the word of God. We just read what defile our bodies. Whose words supersedes(overcomes) who, Jesus or mankind?
