How does one become God fearing?

What does God the Father, in Jesus name, expect from all?

—————————————————————

“A God-fearing man and a God-fearing woman.”

——————————-

How did they become God fearing?

By understanding his likes and dislikes, the do’s and don’ts. Once known, they can self-examine themselves, then strengthen themselves in areas of weaknesses. Therefore, they can approach the baptism with God’s knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, knowing his expectations, and not trying to figure everything out once baptize, with little strength, and sinning out of control.

Isaiah 55: 6(KJV)
6. Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

((You, I repeat, –You–, have to seek. His way, his complete way is not going to fall out the sky, haunt you down, and tape itself unto you body. You have to seek it, believe it, and behold it. Seek him now, while you have access, and free will to find out. There will come a time, when the powers of darkness will seek to hide, and destroy those who have and are spreading his truth. Let’s continue.))

Deuteronomy 30:14-16
14. But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
15. See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16. In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

((His word is nigh, in your mouth, and in your heart(mind). His word shows plainly what life and good, and death and evil is. Food for thought. Whose words are you gonna eat? From the tree the life which is Jesus or from the knowledge of good and evil which is Satan the devil. Live the truth, so that the Lord shall bless you. I’m not referring unto money or possessions, but connection with the Father in Jesus, peace, and open arms and ears when you call out unto him. Let’s continue.))

Conversion

Matthew 18:3-4 (King James Version)
3. And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

(((Humble, whoa…this is serious. Who’s willing to humble themselves? The humble word easily roll of the tongue, yet who’s willing to behold this. The majority of the people on this earth, so caught up in the thought of becoming of woman or man, “I’m grown.” Yeah…unto who? You’ll never grow up to be grown unto the Father and Jesus. These cat’s been around forever, bearing knowledge, wisdom, and understanding without measure. What you got, 20yrs, 25yrs, 35, 50, 70yrs? 1,000yrs is 1 day in his sight(ref. 2 Peter 3: 8), you haven’t reach 10% of one day unto God, he’s been in existence forever. Beware on how you approach God, and the words which come out your mouth. Be careful. Be…careful. He says, “Except ye be converted, and become as little children.” Converted from what? Let’s see.)))

Acts 3:19
19. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

(((So…in order for us to be converted(changed) from a certain lifestyle to another way of living, we have to repent(ask forgiveness) first. Forgiveness for what though? For our sins. We want our sins to be blotted out, when the times of refreshing(the 1st resurrection or Judgement Day) shall come at Jesus return. What is sin? We must know what sin is, because, how would we know what to repent of when we do wrong. Let’s continue)))

1 John 3:4(King James Version)
4. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

((Okay, when we sin, we transgresseth(break) the law, for sin is the transgression(breaking) of the law. This is quite simple to understand, wouldn’t you agree. Sin can’t exist without the law. How good is the law? What is the strength of law. Let’s continue.)))

Psalm 19: 7
7. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

(((The law is so good… that it’s perfect, and is strong enough to convert our soul by fear and humbleness of mind. Let us slow down…..and really look at this, when we delight in God’s laws dwelling in our mind, perfection is activated in our mind. The Lord is actually trying to get us to think like him. Remember, he don’t make any mistakes. The more we think like him, the less we make mistakes. So…. except we be converted, by repenting of our sins, because we’ve been breaking his laws, and become as little children, we shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. As far as little children, we all know that little children are always imitating, looking up to peers, older children, grown ups, most of all, their parents, if they’re around. A child from birth relies on someone to feed them, cloth them, and shelter them from birth. The Lord is saying to us, “rely on me, rely on my ways, I’ll teach you the right way, my way, which will never fail you, and in due time, my way will lead you into my kingdom.” Let’s continue.))

Are the Commandments in the Law?

KJV Matthew 22:36-40
36. Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38. This is the first and great commandment.
39. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

(((Are you serious..the commandments are in the law. Yes Maam… or Yes sir…, people who love God with all their heart, and with all their soul, and with all their mind will obey these commandments. The first five commandments are specifically pertaining to us loving God and not sinning against him. The last 5 is pertaining to being considerate and not offending our neighbor and not sinning against God.

KJV Exodus 20:1-17
1. And God spake all these words, saying,
2. I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me
6. And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10. But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: Note: the Seventh day is labeled Saturday, not Sunday, which is the first day
11. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

(((Note: If a person love the Lord, they wouldn稚 have or make, serve, and/or bow down before any image, man, or invisible God created in their own mind, take the name of the LORD thy God in vain, they would remember his sabbath day to keep it holy, the seventh day(Saturday, not Sunday). )))

The next set of commandments shows us how to love our neighbor(meaning anyone).

12. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. “Note: isn’t this a good thing, even our days upon earth can be extended by honouring this”
13. Thou shalt not kill.
14. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15. Thou shalt not steal.
16. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

KJV Romans 13:8-10
8. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

(((Again, it’s written in verse 8 that we would be fulfilling the law when we love one another by keeping God’s commandments.  In Verse 9: The Lord says.. “If there be any other commandment.” Therefore, even the other commandments that are not listed with the 10 commandments are supposed to be kept.   Many of us have been taught that we no longer have to keep the law.  If that’s the case, How can a servant of God love his neighbor?  He can’t, if the law is not in effect.  Therefore, many of us have grown up not feeling guilty or bad about certain acts or things we’ve committed, and a certain degree of selfishness has become a normal way of living.  Basically, it has boiled down to this way of thinking for many, “How I feel is more important than how I make you feel, right or wrong, get over it,” Come on….we can’t be that way, consideration has been thrown out the window.  If these commandments are not in our memory, or even brought to our remembrance at home and church service, we’ll find ourselves sinning against God and offending our neighbor by committing adultery with this man’s or woman’s spouse, killing our neighbor, coveting things of our neighbor, bearing false witness, and stealing our neighbors property. If our neighbor found out or caught us doing any of these things to them, would they believe that we love them?  Yes or No.  The majority of us have been taught since our toddler years about a few of the commandments, even if the word commandments wasn’t used.  For instance:

1. “killing is bad” (Thou shalt not kill)
2. “I,  John , take you,  Christy , for my lawful (wife), ….. in sickness and in health, until death do us part, vice versa”  (Thou shalt not committee adultery)
3. “Ask before you take anything”  (thou shalt not steal)
4. “Don’t you be lying and lying on him or her”  (Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour).

Yet, the other commandments have been left out unintentionally or intentionally, forgotten, or even never heard of or read, but these other commandments are just as important as the others. For instance, let’s take a look at this story of a woman caught in adultery.)))

The story of the woman taken in Adultery

KJV John 8:4-11
4. They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6. This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11. She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

(((Remember in the 10 commandments, “Thou shalt not commit adultery,” is listed amongst the other nine “Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy, ect.,”.  So even though this woman committed adultery, the other people who were seeking to stone her have committed other sins, so everybody who’s born on this planet is guilty of sin, except Jesus.  There is no little sin or big sin.  Jesus didn’t tell the people that wanted to stone her, “He that had not committed adultery, let him first cast a stone at her”. He said, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her”.  Some of the people who wanted to condemn, point the finger, and stone her may not have committed adultery, but they have lied, stole, refuse to keep the Sabbath Day, bear false witness against their neighbour, coveted, worshipped other gods, made graven images and bowed down to them, took the name of the Lord God in vain, dishonoured their Father and Mother, or committed some other sin.  So all sin in God’s eyes is weighed out to be the same weight and on the same level. Yet, Jesus didn’t tell the woman, “Don’t worry about your sin of committed adultery, just repent and it will be okay.” Jesus said, “go, and sin no more.” So we’re supposed to fear God and strive not to commit any sin and eventually conquer sin by obedience to his commandments.  We should seek after this and acknowledge this:

Psalm 51: 1-6
1. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

Definitions of transgression: the action of going beyond or overstepping some boundary or limit, the act of transgressing; the violation of a law or a duty or moral principle. More specific words related to transgression: crime, evil, immorality, iniquity, law-breaking, sin, wickedness

4. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

(((The Lord’s desire, is that his truth dwell in us, in our inward parts(our mind), where his wisdom will dwell after making it known unto us. The questions is: Do we desire his truth?)))

Psalm 111:10
10. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
