How is a married instituted or created? What about adultery and divorce?

This is how a married is created in the eyes of God:

KJV Deuteronomy 22:28-29
28. If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
29. Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

Note: In order to be married, all the damsel(woman) and the man had to do is have sex. He humbled(enticed) her and she went along with it and she became his wife. I’m not saying in these modern days don’t get a married license, it’s good to get the married license for legal purposes for instance: child support, wills made out before death, etc. It’s good to get a married license also to keep from being a stumbling block for the single Christians and people that haven’t decided to become Christians. What’s the difference between the non-Christian couple shacking up and the Christian couple shacking up without a married license? No difference physically, but spiritually yes. Therefore, in order to show a difference physically and spiritually, and not give the non-Christian people a reason to point the finger at the Christian couple, the Christian couple should get a marriage license.

KJV 1 Thessalonians 5:22
22. Abstain from all appearance of evil.

((These next scriptures are concerning one of the 12 sons of Israel, Judah, and how his married was instituted.))

KJV Genesis 38:1-3, 12
1. And it came to pass at that time, that Judah went down from his brethren, and turned in to a certain Adullamite, whose name was Hirah.
2. And Judah saw there a daughter of a certain Canaanite, whose name was Shuah; and he took her, and went in unto her.
3. And she conceived, and bare a son; and he called his name Er.

Skipping to verse 12

12. And in process of time the daughter of Shuah Judah’s wife died; and Judah was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite.

(((It’s not written that Judah had a wedding and reception. He just went in unto her and she became his wife. These next scriptures are pertaining to the Pharisees tempting Jesus with a question concerning divorcement.)))

KJV Matthew 19:3-9
3. The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

((That was the problem back then during the time of Moses. Them Hebrews dogging the women out, treating them bad. Coming up with all kinds of petty, and ill reasons to divorce their wives. It’s still going on in these days.))

4. And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

((Jesus, knew what Moses did, yet he referred back to the beginning.))

5. And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

((Man shall leave father and mother and cleave unto his wife. Did I mis-read, “Did it say “cleave unto his wife and her family, friends,” vice versa, do she cleave unto him and his family, friends. Naw…I didn’t mis-read, the husband and the wife should cleave unto one another. There’s a time a place for everything. We have to be careful of outside influences. Our Momma and Daddy, is not part of this marriage. If encouragement is not dictated from the word of God, we should have it in question. You know, we might have experienced something like this: Girl or boy..I’ll do this or that. Yeah…okay. I’m the one that’s gonna have to live with my decision, you’re not.))

6. Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

((Jesus is not budging. He’s stating what he’s about.))

7. They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
8. He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

(((The women were being treated badly, that’s why he wrote. In the same breath, he mentions that it was not so in the beginning(meaning Adam and Eve).

9. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

(((So…if fornication is not the reason a man put away his wife, and he marry another, he have committeth adultery, and whosoever marry her that is put away committed adultery. So it would be like a domino effect of adultery.)))

((Check out what Jesus told his disciples after what he told the Pharisees.))

KJV Mark 10:10-12
10. And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.

((So…the disciples asked him again about the bill of divorcement.))

11. And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
12. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
((That don’t need any explanation. You might as well stay together, work it out some how, because the 1st one who hit the door, getting with someone else have committed adultery.))

((Brother Paul, the apostle, jump in on this matter as well.))

KJV 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, 39
10. And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11. But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

((If the wife depart, she shall remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband, also the husband should not divorce(put away his wife).

Skipped to 39

39. The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

((That’s self-explanatory, “until death do us part.”))

KJV Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Note: For the people who understand married and divorcement before laying with an uninformed person. Beware!!! You are held accountable for letting the uninformed know of how the Lord view a married and how it’s instituted. Many informed and uninformed people have the same mindset as a sexually active young teenager. The boyfriend and girlfriend mentality. The informed Christian might say- I do, life-time agreement, yet in their mind, they have some of the boyfriend and girlfriend mentalities. The uninformed have the boyfriend and girlfriend mentally, only. So…what else can we expect. The boyfriend and girlfriend mentality: no life commitment, I’m single and you’re single, kind of lonely, bored, let’s give it a try, convenient sex- no attachments, if it don’t work out, we’ll go our separate ways, no hard feelings, homieLoverfriend, open relationship- just don’t bring no diseases home. What do we have here? A melting pot of Adultery and fornication(the lake of fire). The informed or the Christian with understanding sometimes wind up laying with an uninformed person knowing that they have the boyfriend and girlfriend mentally, and maybe they explain to them later, maybe not. You know, riding it out, in hopes that it work out. Remember, the uninformed have the boyfriend and girlfriend mindset, they’ll bounce(leave the relationship) in a minute. Some informed people think their off the hook, you know, thinking, “They left first, they committed adultery.” Wait a minute now, the informed got caught in the heat of the moment, and created a married with an uninformed, non-God fearing person. What more do you expect from a non-God fearing person. Maybe, that non-God fearing person wouldn’t have laid down with you, if you’d presented to them how God shows us how a married is instituted. Maybe, if you would have said, “I’m not having sex with anyone that I’m not married to.” They might have replied, “See ya, or just bounce, or never want to be bother with you again.” God can’t be played as a fool. I advise all… don’t put yourself in harms way. For the informed, if you wind up laying with an uninformed person, concerning married, and they leave, the Lord might not lay that adultery on them, he might lay it on your head. Be careful.

Some people sometimes bring up David’s adultery act with Bathsheba. The Lord have mercy on whom he will(ref. Exodus 33: 11, Romans 9:15).

Exodus 33: 19
19. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

Romans 9: 15
15. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

((We shouldn’t gamble on being let off the hook from being cast into the lake of fire, like David. Some people might think to use David’s adultery act as a passport, green card to do the same thang and get off the hook. What? Do you think you got the right to stand before God saying this, “Well…, God.. you let David off the hook, you granted him eternal life in the Kingdom, he committed adultery, and murder, I just committed adultery.” Yeah…Okay. God, know your thoughts, even your premeditated thoughts. People who keep approaching God with that mindset, they’re gonna find themselves caught, and not let off the hook, filleted, and fried forever(the lake of fire)witnessing and watching David and the other saints in the glorious side of the Kingdom. Cause, many of us read and know that David will still be in the Kingdom of God. Let me repeat myself, “We know.” David died in hope, he didn’t know. Just as we hope, and if we die before Jesus second coming, we’ll die in hope as well.))

((These scriptures let’s us know that David will be resurrected in the first resurrection reigning on this earth with Jesus.))

Ezekiel 34: 23-24
23. And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

((David is dead at this point of time, how can he feed anyone, knowledge that is.))

24. And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.

((When is David gonna be a Prince and be amongst who, to feed them. Let’s continue.))

Hosea 3: 5
5. Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.

((O….when the children of Israel return, they’re gonna seek the Lord their God(Jesus), and David their king. If the real Jews have returned already, I ask you this, “Where is Jesus and David?” The children of Israel are scattered all over the earth, and still in captivity. So…when is this gonna happen? In the latter days(the future) Let’s continue.))

Amos 9: 9,11, 14-15
9. For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

((The Lord God(Jesus) is gonna sift(gather) Israel, so…Israel shouldn’t be saving no money to move to Israel, to set up shop, and residence on his own. What’s gone happen is, whoever over there and not in the place of safety when the Great Tribulation start, will experience first hand their faith, staring at the Beast and the False Prophet face to face, because Jerusalem is where the Mark of beast will kick off.))

11. In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
14. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
15. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

((Jesus is gonna gather Israel after the Great Tribulation, at his second coming. So….who the world recognize, and publish, and pump through the media as Jews, are not Jews, but are Edomites(Idumeans), Jacob’s(Israel’s) twin brother Esau.))

The Story about David’s adultery act

2 Samuel 11: 2-5, 26-27
2. And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.

((Woe…what’s gonna be David’s next move? Us men, if we’re in a situation like this, what will be our next move? Speaking for myself, “I don’t know.” I don’t ever say what I wont ever do, no more. I hope I make the right decision at the time appointed. Let’s continue.))

3. And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

((Ahh..man..only the fear of the Lord, and being honest with our weaknesses will detour us men from pursuing a woman after suddenly, unexpectedly seeing a beautiful woman naked and washing herself. Even after David found out that she was married, he still wanted to pursue her. He was so stirred up and enticed by his own weakness, that the fear of the Lord was nowhere in mind at this point. Let’s continue.))

4. And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.

((They committed adultery, he laid with a married woman.))

5. And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

((Ahh…man..she pregnant too. On your own time read the whole story. David encouraged Bathsheba husband to come home from the battle field, in hopes that he’d go home and sleep with his wife, Bathsheba. So…eventually, after sleeping with her, he’d think he got his wife pregnant. He came home, but didn’t go home to his wife. So David put him back in the battle against their enemies, in the hottest battle, and told his fellow soldiers to withdraw from helping him so that he would get killed. In most cases, if unchecked, as my elder Bro. Buie/Head Pastor of The Israel of God would say, “Sin Breeds Sins,” once started, now it’s cover your tracks time, lying, killing, and stealing to keep things hidden.))

26. And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband.
27. And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord.

((Note: Did you notice that Bathsheba didn’t become his wife until after her husband was dead. The Lord speaks about that. Let’s continue.))

KJV Romans 7:1-3
1. Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

((A dead man or dead woman can’t sin, because they aren’t breathing. As long as we’re living, the law is in effect.))

2. For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

((Okay, back to David, the Lord was displeased with David for committing adultery, ect. as written in 2 Samuel 11: 27. Let’s continue.))

2 Samuel 12: 7-15
7. And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
8. And I gave thee thy master’s house, and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.

((David had much, he was King, the Lord delivered him out of the hand of Saul, he had many wives, and if that had been too little, he could have gotten more, but by righteousness. So…he made a wrong move. Let’s continue.))

9. Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

((David despised the commandment of the Lord: Thou shalt not covet- Exodus 20: 17, Thou shalt not commit adultery- Exodus 20: 14, Thou shalt not kill- Exodus 20: 13. He even setup one of his fellow soldiers to get killed by their enemy. That’s a bad…..do. That’s messed up. Let’s continue.))

10. Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

((By his evil doing, the Lord brought a sword in his household. It’s also written in Proverbs about this. Proverbs 17: 13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.))

11. Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

12. For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

((Because of his secrecy adultery and murder, the Lord is gonna make sure his corruption in his household will be visible to all.))

13. And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

((David humbled himself, admitting his sin. The Lord had mercy on David by not killing him.))

14. Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.
15. And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah’s wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.

((Eventually, the Lord killed the baby.))

Until again,

Grace and Peace
