Is it a requirement to speak in tongues to receive the Holy Ghost, and obtain salvation(gain access into the Father’s Kingdom)? ref. Revelation ch.21

VITAL INFO ON SPEAKING IN TONGUES

1 Corinthians 14:1, 5, 19
1. Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

5. I would that ye all spake with tongues; but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

19. Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

Paul the servant of Jesus Christ mentions that it’s better to prophesy than speak with tongues, except its interpreted. I’ve been to numerous churches, even outside the church and heard people, so call speak in tongues, and then there was no interpreter. So we all were listening to a whole lot of babbling, which profited us nothing. How can the church be edified, if there is no interpreter?

In verse 19, Paul speaks about teaching others the word of God. How can we be taught if we don’t understand one another language? We can’t communicate, so therefore we can’t progress none. We would eventually get tired of listening and do what the people did in the beginning in Genesis 11:4-9.

Genesis 11:4-9
4. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
5. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
8. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
9. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Note: God created all languages upon this earth.

((People will eventually be scattered, leaving feeling uncomfortable, especially new comers, who are invited to that particular church, and experience being in the midst of, just about the whole church going off into what’s considered, speaking in tongues, without an interpreter.

THE ORDER OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES IS AS FOLLOWS:

1 Corinthians 14:27-28
27. If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
28. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

((Basically, if there’s no interpreter, no one should openly speak in tongues amongst no one.))

This is how you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost:

John 14:15
15. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

((Okay, we must keep Jesus commandments in order to receive this Comforter, which is also refer to as the Spirit of truth. Is this some spiritual entity that enters our body and controls us? Let’s continue and find out.))

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

((This Comforter is also called the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in Jesus name, and he, I repeat, he, shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever Jesus have said unto you. This looks like a servant. This looks like an individual that works for God, sent out to deliver messages. Let’s continue and look at an example.))

Revelation 1:1
1. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2. Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

((Okay, the Revelation of Jesus, which God(The Father) gave unto him, to shew his servants things which must short com to pass, then Jesus sent the message by the hand of the angel unto his servant John. Let’s look at it again.))

The order of the Word of God sent unto man is:

1. The Father sends his word unto his Son Jesus
2. Jesus receives his word and sends it by his angel
3. The angel(Holy Angel, Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit, Spirit of Truth, or Comforter) receives the word by the hand of Jesus      and sends it unto the servants of Jesus
4. The servant receives the word by the angel

((The Holy Ghost in this matter, is nothing other than an angel which work for God, not some spiritual being jumping into our body overtaking us and making us speak in a unknown tongue(unknown language), hollaring and screaming. Once we understand his laws and commandments, we must do this also to continue to receive this Holy Angel or Holy Ghost(ghost is slang for invisible being).

Acts 2:38
38. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

((Now that we know what right and wrong is by understanding his laws and commandments, we therefore, can come before God with repentance by baptism of our evil deeds, living unto righteousness.))

So..NO, I repeat, NO, It is not a requirement to speak in tongues to receive the Holy Ghost, and obtain salvation.

Keeping the commandments, and getting baptized is all that is required.
