Part 3 of 3: What is the Protocol of God in the Household?

Let’s look into this.

1 Peter 3:7
7. Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

((Dwell with them according to who’s knowledge? God’s knowledge, because this is our staying power in the household. We must honour(respect, admire, adore) our wives. Yeah, she’s the weaker vessel, yet we’re not supposed to boast ourselves in that. For instance, pushing them around, to the point where they feel like their walking on thin ice, never relaxed, scared, ect. That’s not even healthy either, worrying all the time. It shouldn’t be. We can….. make it being heirs together, looking out for one another, encouraging one another, that our prayers be not hindered. We don’t want that, we want the Father to hear us when we call out to him. Let’s honour them for the whole households sake. Let’s continue.))

Isaiah 33:6
6. And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

((When we grab a hold of his wisdom and knowledge and believe, our stability will remain firm throughout all times. We might get shook up sometimes dealing with some things, but as long as we continue to hold on, we’ll recover, he will not forsake us. If we continue, he’ll continue as long as our fear exist.))

1 Peter 3:8-9, 15
8. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

One mind is basically being on one accord, equally yoked.

Definitions of compassion: the quality of understanding the suffering of others and wanting to do something about it. A deep awareness of and sympathy for another suffering. Patience is connected to having compassion. It takes time to understand why things are such, if we love them, and want to be a help, well take time out to understand why. By us keeping our eyes open and observing one another, we’ll become more in tune with one another. We have to slow down.

Definition of courteous- having respect for and consideration of others, politeness

9. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

((Rendering evil for evil(back and forth, you did it to me, you deserve it to be done to you). Keep in mind that we are called, we shouldn’t take this for granted. Matthew 22: 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.))

15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

((By us being girded with his word men, we are able to do this. Especially for our families, even for anyone outside our immediate family. If we are our brothers keeper, we should be able to vibe off one another strengths. Hope should be contagious! Hope is the only reason for living, because this here 40, 50, 60, 70 years is not enough. About the time we hit between 30-35 yrs old, the majority of us are on the decline in health, strength, appearance, gravity is taking it’s toll. We come from dirt, and sin and gravity is and will magnetize(drag) us back into it if Jesus don’t come soon enough. So let’s reach out to something everlasting, his truth. If the majority of us are seeking and exercising the Lord’s ways and answers, we can’t help but to increase strength(spiritual mind strength), because this mortal is not forever.

When we continue in his word, trusting him, we remain vessels useful for encouragement. Let’s take a look. ))

Proverbs 22:19-21
19. That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee.
20. Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge,
21. That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?

((The Lord will send people our way, for confirmation, and encouragement. The Lord is our counselor, his truth is excellent, it counsels us unto eternal life, not the wisdom of man. The Lord’s knowledge is the pathway unto eternal power and understanding. The Lord’s desire is to save all people, yet he’s giving us a choice. Check this out.))

2 Peter 3:9
9. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

((He’s not slack concerning his promise of eternal life unto the righteous. The Lord is longsuffering with us, shouldn’t we show longsuffering to others. We must seek to save ourselves, it’s not guaranteed that we’ll exist the next 5 minutes, 2 hours, or until the end of the week. The Lord’s desire is that all people come to repentance. Once again, it’s our choice.))

These next scriptures are pertaining to being groomed into the best adult possible in the sight of God. These are best implemented during childhood years. We absorb and remember so much in our elementary years. Children learning and understanding God at an early age can have a tremendous headstart at the beginning stages of becoming adults. This applies to boys and girls, yet I’m specifically directing this part 3 mainly to us men of God maintaining and the young boys becoming enduring God-fearing men suitable/knowledgeable of whats expected of them when and if they decide to get married.

—————————————————————–

“A single God-fearing man being made”

1 Corinthians 7:32-33
32. But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

(When a man is a Christian, or a servant of the Most High, and have not a wife, he carried for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord. This is our purpose while being single. The question at hand is: How do we please the Lord? Let’s continue.))

Romans 12: 1-3
1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

((What are we; us men, willing to sacrifice? How do we become holy, and acceptable unto God? If we aren’t holy, and acceptable unto God, where does that leave our children? It leaves them without the armour of God, in the wilderness(the world), open season, all seasons, as sitting ducks waiting to get sniped out by God. Why? Because, they have know understanding about God, and how to please or approach him, because the parents don’t have time or simply don’t care. I guess it’s every man, woman, and child for himself, no help, or example, defending for themselves alone even while growing up in the household. I’m speaking in the position for all children, “you say that you love me mom and dad, yeah..right, okay.” Again: What are we willing to sacrifice? First of all, “Time.” What’s related to sacrificing time? Humbleness of mind. Basically telling ourselves, “I have to make room for God the Father in Jesus to guide my steps, because his thoughts and ways are higher than mines(ref. Isaiah 55: 6-9). In order to overcome, we have to use our personal time, so that we can eventually save ourselves, even our children from the wrath to come before Jesus second return, even the Lake of fire. You know, many of us have grown up having our life planned out: college, graduate and find a job, get married, buy a house, college fund for children, take vacations, and enjoy life. Is that it? Is this our only investment? All that’s good, but something is missing. What’s missing? The word of God. Many of us grew up going to some church, yet the majority of what most of us was getting, wasn’t the truth. It was a whole lot of nice speeches, feel good sermons, kicking it in the church(dancing all around, basically almost like a live concert at church every Sunday, with maybe 1 ½ verses of scripture, and by the end of service, we’d probably forgot that. Sisters and brothers, feel good is not a prerequisite or necessity for being granted access into the Fathers Kingdom. Let’s continue.))

2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

((We must strive not to be conformed to this world. Everyday it’s a fight, even in our sleep sometimes, crazy dreams. We wake up fighting. Fighting who? Ourselves, our weaknesses, but we must continue to be transformed by the renewing of our mind(seeking God, reading his word, praying/repenting, rehearsing scriptures) we have to occupy our mind with his word, especially when we’re weak. We have to remind ourselves, “THE LAKE OF FIRE, THE LAKE OF FIRE, WORMS, WORMS, WORMS, FOREVER, FOREVER, FOREVER, NO, NO, NO, NO, GET RIGHT, GET RIGHT, GET RIGHT.” I find myself talking to myself sometimes. You can call me what you want, crazy or whatever. Whatever works, I do it to encourage myself. I’m not talking about holding a conversation with myself, asking myself questions and responding back. You know, sometimes sinful situations are present before your eyes or you see situation that isn’t sin, but can be look upon as sin. When situations like that occur, we need to take precautions, even sometimes remove ourselves. Speaking to myself softly, I’ll be like, “Aww..naw.. Keep it moving. You already know.” Back to verse 2: We must prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect. His word is perfect. His word is his will.

3. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

((We have to be careful not to think of ourselves more highly than we should, but to think soberly(leveled headed), according as God have giving us, whatever measure of faith(belief) we are at. We all should be growing, yet we all are growing at different rates. We shouldn’t feel less or more than one another in our growth. We must do good with what we have, and that’s honourable unto God. Let’s continue.))

1 Thessalonians 4:1-2
1. Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
2. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

((We ought to walk in the commandments. This is our walk. This is how we please God.))

3. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

((By us walking in the commandments, we are fulfilling his will. It’s also our sanctification(separation from the world). We read prior to this that, we shouldn’t be conformed(attached) to this world, the ways of the world.))

4. That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

((His word shows us how to possess(control/use) our vessel in sanctification and honour. Once we understand and know how to possess our vessel, we can see clearly in everything, even judgement.))

Proverbs 21: 3-4
3. To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
4. An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

((When we do justice and execute righteous judgement, we’ll automatically understand when we need to sacrifice. Obedience before sacrifice(ref.1 Samuel 15: 22). Once we understand what we’re up against spiritually and physically, and the deception, even our patience and longsuffering towards our fellowman will increase, because the majority of us grew up, moved out, and starting families with no sure foundation of truth and strength. Just about the whole world acting out on emotions and impatience. We must remember this. Let’s continue.

Ephesians 5: 8-10
8. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

((We all have been in darkness, and hopefully we’ll keep that in mind while interacting and coming in contact with those who are not informed and those who are in transitioning stages.))

9. (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10. Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

((Let’s look at the fruit of the spirit.))

Galatians 5: 22-23
22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The Fruit of the Spirit Defined:

  • Love, meaning devotion- being earnest, showing dedication and implying selflessness. A true friend.
  • Joy -the emotion of great happiness, make glad or happy, feel happiness or joy
  • longsuffering – patiently enduring lasting offense or hardship
  • gentleness- cause to be more favorably inclined; gain the good will of, having or showing a kindly or tender nature, quiet and soothing, soft and mild; not harsh or stern or severe
  • goodness- the quality or state of being good, honest, righteousness, uprightness, virtuousness
  • faith- (ref. Hebrews 11: 1) the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Additional meaning – loyalty or allegiance to a cause or a person, complete confidence in a person or plan etc , a strong belief in a divine power or powers that control human destiny
  • meekness- a disposition to be patient and long suffering, the feeling of patient submissive humbleness
  • temperance – moderation and self restraint as in behavior, expression, action, thought, or feeling. Discipline in personal and social activities, the state of being physically constrained.

Let’s continue.

Psalm 25: 9
9. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

Zephaniah 2: 3
3. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’s anger.

((As long as we maintain our meekness, we’ll seek the Lord, because we trust in his directions/instructions. By us doing this, we may be hid in the day of his anger. Especially hidden from the Great Tribulation, even the wrath he’s gonna bring when he descend from heaven with all his angels into the clouds to meet the saints taking from the earth, then back down to the earth to destroy, clean, and purify this earth. We don’t want to be amongst the destroyed. Let’s look further into the fruit of the spirit. The benefit of upholding the fruit of the spirit.))

2 Peter 1:5-10
5. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7. And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

((If these characteristics dwells in us, we shall never be lacking in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.))

9. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

((When we lack the knowledge of Jesus, which knowledge he received from the Father, we can’t see far off, we can’t maneuver and make the best choice available in our journey, we’re always surprise about most things, wondering why, our life is a gamble(lottery), and doubtful. Many have forgotten that they we’re purge from their old sins, when baptized.))

10. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

((We have to make our calling and election sure. We are not saved(ref Matthew 24: 13). Many of us have been called, yet if we continue, our election is sure, otherwise we’ll fall.))

Until again,

Grace and Peace
