What about youthful lust, and sleeping around?

Let’s take a look at this:

1 Corinthians 13: 11
11. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

((This is plain and simple. We were children, we’ve physically grown up and became adults. While going through that phase, our minds should be growing along with our age. We must take advantage of the time we’ve been giving upon this earth. When seeking God’s truth, and his ways, our mental possibilities and capabilities becomes endless, even while in this mortal body. Once we’ve found out and tapped into the possibilities and capabilities, then we share it, because we love one another. Looking out for one another. We all can benefit, even our children, and children childrens, and so on.))

Ephesians 5: 1-5
1. Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

((We can never be so grown up enough that we can’t advance more. We can never be so grown up enough not to humble ourselves unto God as dear children. Remember, we have a starting point, he doesn’t(ref. Hebrews 7: 1-3, Psalm 90: 2). He has been around from everlasting to everlasting. As long as we look up unto him as a child for instruction, he has an answer not only for our well being, but also for the well being of the children that’s watching and desiring instruction. Let’s continue.))

2. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

((Walk..in love. Auh….man… Christ loved us by walking what he talked, and gave himself for us, denying the sinful nature of man, denying what might feel good unto this flesh, even breathing this air, to save mankind. What are we willing to deny, to give hope unto our kids, our friends, our associates, and our kinfolk. He did it. Many prophets did it, many apostles did it, many brothers and sisters from the Old and New testament did it as well, we can… do it, I can say, “I’m doing it.” I’m not special, better, or privilege more than anyone. I believe, I fear greatly, and it’s tiresome, and stressful counteracting the weakness of this flesh on my own without the help of the Father through Christ. So..I don’t. I refuse to be controlled by my weaknesses. I hate being controlled by my weaknesses. Once you feel this way, you’ll be bound by nothing. I gave it a shot, and reaped the proceeds. For those who haven’t gave it a shot, and now have decided to give it a shot, you’ll reap proceeds as well, no matter what nationality. All you have to be is.., sincere. Be honest with yourself, acknowledge your weaknesses. We all…gottem. Let’s continue, some of them are listed below.))

3. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness(ref. Exodus 20: 17), let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

((Some of us call ourselves saints, some of us seek to be saints. We might be known by or use to be known by these titles, yet we can no longer be labeled by these. The past is the past, it’s all about today, now, and forward. People gone talk, people gone gossip, people gone throw monkey wrenches. Talking about, girl.. or boy… she used to do this or he used to do that. Have you notice, “I USED TO.” Past tense, months ago, yesteryear’s ago. Yeah..it might hurt to think about your past, or hear through the grape-vine people character assassinating you. Hold fast. The Lord will give you strength to deal with it. He knows how much you can take. Remember this below.

2 Thessalonians 1: 4-6
4. So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5. Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
6. Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

((Okay, let’s continue. We shouldn’t take part or be named by any of these.))

4. Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

((Let’s continue.))

2 Timothy 2: 19
19. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

((The Lord knows those that are his, we must deal with ourselves. I ask you this. How close do you want to be connected to the Father through the Christ? What you put in, is what you get out. If you seek to depart from iniquity 50% of the time, maybe he’ll have a ear for you 50% of time, or not at all. If you seek to depart from iniquity 70% of the time, maybe he’ll have an ear for you 70% of the time. If you seek to depart from iniquity 100% of the time, maybe he’ll have an ear for you 100% of the time. It’s all about being straight up. Whatever evil we know about it. We know within ourselves what degree of effort we’re putting into not committing sinful acts. Let’s continue.))

20. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

((Basically, vessels of honour: the people who are serious about seeking and living righteous, and vessels of dishonour: the people who are lukewarm, forever straddling the fence, yet considering themselves Christians or servants of God))

21. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

((When we purge ourselves from being named of these: fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, ect., we will become vessels unto honour, sanctified(set apart from the world), and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.))

22. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Until again,

Peace and Love
