Will I commit sin, by drinking wine and/or strong drink(liquor)?

Let’s have a look:

KJV 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

((Drunkards will not inherit the kingdom, not those who drink alcohol. A person can drink without getting drunk.))

KJV Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

((The word of God says, “be not drunk with wine”, it didn’t say we can’t drink it. Yes, a person can get drunk with wine. How? Excessiveness- too much. Let’s continue and read what options the Children of Israel had when they rejoiced before the Lord .))

KJV Deuteronomy 14:22-26
22. Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
23. And thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the Lord thy God always.

Note: back in those days people paid tithes with vegetables, livestock, even wine.

24. And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the Lord thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the Lord thy God hath blessed thee:
25. Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose:

((The Israelites were traveling to the place where the LORD chose.))

26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the Lord thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

((Okay. Two of the options that were okay for them to enjoy before the Lord was: wine and strong drink. Remember, God told Moses what to tell the people to do and how to not offend him. If God disliked or hate the fact that people drink wine or strong drink, it would be written in the scriptures. If a person desire is to drink wine or strong drink(liquor), so be it. If they haven’t gotten drunk by it, they haven’t sinned. If drinking wine, alcohol, and/or strong drink makes a person a sinner, then God endorsed and promoted sin right here in Deuteronomy 14: 26. It’s not a sin, only if people get drunk from drinking it. Jesus himself made water into wine and not grape juice as some people teach.))

KJV John 2:7-9
7. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

((For instance in a grocery store: When have you ever seen Boonesfarm wine, Maddog 20/20, Night Train, Thunderbird, Cisco, and Wild Irish Rose in the Juice section where there’s: Tropicana orange juice, Oceanspray juices, and Hawaiian Punch juices? Speaking for myself, I’ve never.))

KJV 1 Timothy 5:23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.

((The word of God answered the question. No, it is not a sin to drink liqour(E&J, Vodka, Whisky, Gin, Rum, or any other) or wine. It becomes a sin when a person get drunk from drinking it.))
